The CEPHEUS Mark OEM laser system is a powerful and extremely compact ultra-short pulse laser marking system.
Due to the extremely short pulses (typically <15ps), the low material removal per laser pulse and the possibility of "cold processing", this OEM marking system is particularly suitable for applying fine, high-precision structures to sensitive materials (such as wafer-thin foils).
Laser marking is largely independent of the wavelength due to non-linear multiphoton absorption processes of the short pulses.
This means that almost all materials can be processed - even those that are actually transparent for this wavelength, such as glass.
